According to a report from Dagens Næringsliv, a Norwegian newspaper, Norway's four main political parties have come to an agreement to ban new gas-powered (petrol or diesel) car sales by 2025.  Norway already has the highest percentage of new electronic vehicle sales (24%) in the world, and this new legislation will bring the country that much closer to its proposed fuel ban.

In a similar vein, Paris will be restricting the use of older cars within the city starting from July this year.  Cars 19 years or older will be banned from the streets during weekdays between 8:00am and 8:00pm in an effort to reduce pollution within the city.  People who are found breaking the ban could face fines between $35 & $450USD.
