The New Delhi suburb of Gurgaon is home to MNC's like Google, Microsoft and Apple, and in a bid to beat the traffic faced by thousands of people on a daily basis, the city is exploring the possibility of introducing driverless electric pods that will be suspended from overhead rails and travel at around 60km/hour.  The pilot project will cover a distance of 13km with 16 stations and will cost around $126 million, connecting the Delhi border with the interior of Gurgaon.
