5D Totalmotion is a hardware platform created by Futuretown, a VR gaming company that is backed by former HTC CEO Peter Chou.  Recently announced at the Tokyo Game Show, the device is a motion machine that can be used with an Oculus Rift, HTC Vive or 3Glasses VR headset.  The machine can have various modules screwed into it depending on the game, ranging from horse riding to skiing, to enhance the overall experience and further merge the virtual and real worlds.
