Having gone from a relatively unknown phrase to a widely used expression, the term “sharing economy” has officially been inducted into the Oxford English Dictionary along with its very own definition.  However, Fast Company has seen fit to definitively draw the line between all the phrases that the “sharing economy” is often confused with such as the “peer economy”, the “on-demand economy” and so on.
