In today’s world Minecraft is the new Lego, and trying to remove a child from the computer is often met with cries of “but I just need to finish this wall” or “mine that stone”…and so the battle begins.  But beyond this there is always the fear that children will stumble across mature content, or be tricked into following an inappropriate link, when their computer use extends beyond the realms of creativity.  KoalaSafe aims to even the playing field and tip the scales in favour of the parent with an overriding goal to protect our children online while removing the necessity of becoming a “helicopter parent”.  It also acts as an easy solution to getting children off the screen.
